Here you will find groups and organizations that offer classes you might like for your children.  Sometimes, you would like to not have to teach all the subjects for your child.  There are plenty of ways to add extracurricular activities to your homeschool or even find classes to teach the subjects you have difficulty with.

Spice-Line

A moderated, Christian, conservative group email  service  made up of over 3000 homeschool families; it has been a source of homeschooling information and advice in the Triangle area for 25 years

Homeschool Gathering Place:

Homeschool book store located in North Raleigh that sells new & used curriculum and materials.

Northern Wake National Home School Honor Society:

Located in northern Wake County and established as one of the first home school honor societies in the Raleigh area

Wake Forest Christian Honor Society:

Homeschool honor society for students in 7th -12th grade

Competitive boys & girls basketball and cross country, and girls volleyball for homeschoolers ages 11-18; part of the NCHEAC league and competes against homeschool, private, and charter school teams

Wake County Homeschool Baseball:

The Warriors have been providing competitive youth baseball for homeschoolers in the Triangle since 2000.

Homeschool Football League:

Built on Christian values, HFL offers flag football and contact football for ages 8-18.

Core Athletes/ Raleigh Hawks Athletics:

Competitive Christian program for aquatics, baseball, and basketball  for homeschooled  students in Raleigh area

New Life Camp Storm Athletics:

Christian homeschool program offering competitive baseball, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer, girls volleyball, and cross-country; members of NCHEAC league

Classical Conversations:

A local group for those interested in using the CC program and methods. To locate one, visit their website and do a community search to find groups in our area.

Providence Tutorials:

Offers a weekly program of educational enrichment classes in Durham and Youngsville for homeschooling families across the Triangle.

Carolina Capital Homeschool Prom:

CCH Prom is an elegant event for homeschooled students and their guests,  ages 15-19,  held in May at The Sutherland in Wake Forest.

Capital Christian Homeschool Bands:

Formerly Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Band, this program has been around since 1997, providing instruction in brass, woodwind, and percussion to students of all levels, beginner to advanced, and providing performance opportunities throughout the year.

Creators Christian Academy Bands:

Provides a rehearsal and performance experience for homeschool students (public, charter or private students without a regular band opportunity are welcome as well) who are passionate about music. Participants will enjoy playing in concerts, ensemble performances and community events with like-minded fellow musicians.

New Life Camp LEARN Academics and Clubs:

NLC in N. Raleigh offers a variety of academic and extra-curricular enrichment classes and activities for homeschoolers.

Players of the Bard:

A Christian-based homeschool drama program offering weekly classes and productions each semester.
