Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Association sponsors a competitive athletic program open to all homeschoolers ages 11 – 18.
The purpose of our program is to provide the opportunity for homeschooled youth to develop physical fitness, self-discipline, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and Godly character through participation in competitive sports. Our program is open to non-Lighthouse members, but operates under the principles of the Lighthouse Homeschool Christian Association Statement of Faith, and our coaches are all Christians who may include Bible study and prayer as part of their practices and game time preparations.
We currently offer Basketball teams and cross country for boys and girls in Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. We also have girls Volleyball in Middle school, Junior Varsity and Varsity.
Our Teams belong to the North Carolina Home Educators Athletic Conference (NCHEAC) and compete against other homeschool teams, as well as local private and charter school teams.
