Introduction to Homeschooling in July
Welcome to Lighthouse Lighthouse is a Christian homeschool support group made up of close to 200 families in the Wake Forest / Youngsville / N.Raleigh area of North Carolina. Through Lighthouse, homeschooling families support and encourage one another, and work together to provide activities and events that enrich the education of our children. A monthly parent meeting, for the purpose of encouragement, information, and fellowship, is held on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 7 pm - 9 pm. Other activities currently include weekly park days, a variety of field trips, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Craft Fair, Iowa Testing, Geography Bee, International Fair, Yearbook, Food Pantry service opportunity, Homeschooling in High School workshops, Kindergarten Celebration, and High School Graduation. Lighthouse Sports provides a competitive middle school and high school athletics program for area homeschoolers. Group communication is through email via Yahoogroups. If you would like to join Lighthouse, you can fill out the form online and mail your membership fee to the address listed on the form.
