Parent Support We strongly recommend that home school families be an active member of a support group to insure accountability and to help you get to know other like-minded families. Here are a few areas that Lighthouse can help support your home school:
Parent Meetings – Lighthouse Parent Meetings are designed to provide encouragement, information, and fellowship. Our meeting topics, times, and locations vary. These meetings are a great time to get information, ask questions, and build relationships with other homeschool parents in the group. Visitors are always welcome, so feel free to bring a friend.
Mentorship We have experienced homeschool moms who are willing to help support you on your homeschooling journey. We offer assisstance in understanding NC homeschooling requirements, putting together transcripts for high schoolers, homeschooling special needs, choosing curriculum, troubleshooting common homeschool struggles, and much more.
Member Care– We are made by community, for community, in relationship with each other. You are not meant to do life alone. Lighthouse member care is a group of loving people ready to serve you during a time of need.
