Field Day is a day of outdoor fun for all.  It’s like our own mini-Olympics where kids are divided by age groups to enjoy some friendly competition against each other.  High schoolers are divided by age & gender for their competitions. We have traditional games like sprints, long jumps, high jumps, archery, and javelin throw, but we also throw in some non-traditional games like sack races, soccer, sit-ups, egg-n-spoon race, and tug-of-war. All parents volunteer in some capacity such  as a group leader or at various stations where the competitions take place.  It is a day of fun and fellowship for everyone.
